Hollis is a purpose built studio, part of a Victorian terrace house and situated right next door to the Carriageworks Arts Precinct in Newtown North.
Offering the facilities of a private hotel but with the addition of a small galley kitchen, Hollis is ideal for the short stay visitor.
The main bed sitting room offers a queen size bed, table and chairs, flat screen TV/DVD, ceiling fan and central heating. The luxurious, glass walled bathroom offers large walk in shower, basin and w.c.
The galley kitchen is fully equipped for basic food preparation, with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery supplied. Basic supplies of tea, coffee and sugar are provided. There is a front loading Miele washing machine plus iron and ironing Board. The kitchen and laundry facilities are shared by the two studios at these premises. If you are coming to Newtown to cook and an exclusive kitchen is important – then Hollis is probably not for you. We suggest you consider one of our apartments instead. But for casual visitors who want to enjoy the huge variety of eating experiences on offer in Newtown this could be your answer. Store a bottle of Australian wine in the fridge, make a cup of tea in the morning and give yourself a break from slaving over a hot stove. Newtown will not disappoint you – whether you are a dedicated foodie or simply happy to have someone else cook for you, a stay in Newtown could be just what the Doctor ordered.
